Q. Why are the trail
rides so far away from me? |

A. OTRA rides and
events are hosted by our members, in their favourite riding areas. |

Q. Can I host a
trail ride? |
|
A. Yes, you can! You
need trails, suitable camping area and a willingness to show them
off to other OTRA members. |
| |

Q. What if there is
already an event on the same date I want to hold mine? |
|
A. It is feasible to
have more than one event, especially if they are located in very
different regions. |

Q. What is the pace
of the rides? |
|
A. OTRA has a policy
to set the pace to the lowest level of any participant rider or
horse. Safety is first and foremost. It may sometimes
be feasible to have more than one group of different skill levels
go out, but this is dependent on the availability of qualified
trail bosses. |

Our 2011 Event Calendar
This year's
edition of our Event Calendar is now being compiled
for mailing. It will be sent to all members with a current 2011 or later
membership. If you do not receive your copy by mid-April, please
check that your membership has been paid. If so, please let us know,
as despite our efforts, we may have overlooked your information.
Here is our event line up for 2011. Please note that
you must be a member of OTRA to participate in these events.
Remember to carry your current membership card with you to the events!
